For this weeks entry, I took the concept “New Love” and created a beautiful song for people battling addiction. As many of you know, my brother passed away from addiction and my mother is currently in rehab. As I was writing this song, it was almost like I was talking to my mom telling her everything I wanted her to hear. This song is not rap by any means, but if someone out there listening to this needed to hear it, then I’ll feel good knowing I might of helped somebody through this song. “Forget the things you knew of… go get yourself a new love.” #NewLoveMT
